Oyster Bay Basement Abode With Flood Damage
Intense storms brought large amounts of rain that caused flood damage in this Oyster Bay basement. The peel and stick tile on the concrete floor delaminated rapidly and required removal. Water wicked into the sheetrock on the finished walls, and SERVPRO techs needed to remove and dispose of it. The techs performed a pack out to inspect and clean salvageable articles to save the homeowner the cost of replacement on items like the game table and corner bookshelf. The techs were able to extract all the moisture, dry the cinderblock walls and concrete substrate, and sanitize the room for use again by the homeowner. As seen in the After Photo, the place is ready to bring furnishings back into it and begin enjoying the space.
