Oyster Bay Room Needs Fire Damage Cleanup

SERVPRO technicians answered the call for this Oyster Bay home with significant fire damage. The room required removing numerous articles for inspection and potential cleaning at a staging area outside the worksite. The techs needed to remove the sheetrock as the smoke damage was so widespread, there was no way to lift it off or apply a sealant over it for reuse. As seen in the After Photo, sometimes the best outcome is preparing the room for rebuilding and repairs. The techs took the worksite down to the framework and also removed the flooring. Then they performed odor control applications, so the reconstruction started with a clean slate.
