Little Leak in Oyster Bay Office Ceiling Leaves Larger Commercial Water Damage Problem

A small ceiling leak that dripped slow and steady left a large amount of water damage in this Oyster Bay office entryway. The property owner brought in SERVPRO, and the techs extracted the water in the industrial carpet. By using their moisture detection equipment, the techs were able to confirm that no migration of water occurred behind the baseboards and did not get wicked into the sheetrock, saving the owner money due to his fast action for starting the cleanup as soon as it got discovered. Since no seepage occurred, the techs were able to dry the carpet in place, and as seen in the After Photo, there is no indication of the damage, "Like it never even happened."
