Winter is coming and colder weather is on the horizon. You should inspect your commercial or residential property to see if there are any areas that need heating or insulation that can prevent freezing weather from damaging your property. This type of damage may cause thousands of dollars of damage depending on the size of your home or commercial property. It could also require several weeks (if not more!) of construction.

Check all areas of your property where water pipes run. Check pipes near exterior walls, basements, attics, and other unheated areas. Garages or pipes in colder parts of your property. To determine if the temperature inside the space is higher than outside, place an exterior thermometer.
